Using worsted weight yarn and a size 8 US (5 mm) crochet hook, the ribbed texture and double thick brim is sure to be your go to item when the winter winds blow and the snow is falling.
The pattern itself is very easy to follow. It isn't an overly complicated pattern and is great for the newer crocheter. I've included a bunch of photos in case you are unfamiliar with creating short rows. Leaving some stitches unworked at the ends of alternating rows creates the rounded shape needed to fit a head. Trust me. It totally works. ;-)
It is one size fits most as the ribbing can contract and stretch as needed.
